My gaming laptop is an MSI GP73 Leopard 8RF-625UKĭedicated GTX 1070 with 8gb of GDDR5 vram. P.s I have also run the game in VR on my gaming laptop with the same graphical settings at a stable 90FPS. I run the game with the same settings as in that video no matter the weather/time of day settings, as can be seen here with Sweden in heavy snow. FPS information is shown in the Video from using the Oculus performance overlay in the HMD, footage recorded using Oculus Mirror and OBS on the same system I play the game on. Those have since been mostly resolved in updates, as those FPS drops no longer happen for me using the same settings as in the below video. Spain was a pain to run at the time, and suffered the most FPS drops for me, right near the start of the track. This is an old video of mine from testing SteamVR, OculusSDK via steam, and the Oculus Store version of the game. Steam VR actually requires manually setting the resolution per eye in the SteamVR apps settings, otherwise it runs at a much higher resolution by default (The more powerful your hardware is, the higher the resolution is set automatically in steamVR) Those are the things that kill the FPS in VR for DR2.0, no matter which VR system is in use. Motion blur, god rays, chromatic aberration, bloom, light steaks and lens dust all need setting to either "replay mode" or "off" also, as these will equally drop the FPS during driving.Īlso having higher than normal supersampling kills any kind of performance with this game, it has to be left at default settings for SS. The main culprit for FPS drops, is "ground cover" and "multisampling" settings, followed closely by "crowds". I did extensive testing of every graphical option once VR hit, in both Oculus SDK and Steam VR. I run the game on a i7 6700k (quad core 8 thread CPU) with 16gb ddr4 3000mhz ram and a GTX1080 with a CV1. You dont need everything set to "low", with shaders and textures set to "high" and objects to "medium". It's amazing experience and you probably don't miss anything since I've tried every settings at low and ultra and I didn't see any visual difference. Didn't try rallycross tho, there might be problems since my GPU usage during normal rally at night and heavy rain goes to about 90+ %. I didn't experience any issues just some little fps dips at night and heavy rain (occurs like one or two times per race). For more tips and tricks on the game, as well as all things VR, be sure to search for Twinfinite.Major Issue の投稿を引用:With GTX 1070 and Oculus Rift CV1 it is fully playable, just set everything as low as possible (low, very low and off), keep just shader and textures high and objects to medium (to get rid of pop up on low). That’s everything you need to know about if Dirt Rally 2.0 is in VR on PS4.

Of course, since the VR version of the first game came to PSVR at a later date, it is possible that Dirt Rally 2.0 will come to the PS4 in virtual reality sometime later. We also do not know just yet exactly when the Oculus Rift VR version will launch. It could be the entire game, and it could be just certain modes. There’s have been no details revealed in regards to what parts of the game will be playable in virtual reality. At least for now, Dirt Rally 2.0 is not in VR on PS4.
